Garmin Connect : Our team develops software solutions for Garmin Connect, which is the platform for tracking and analyzing health and fitness data gathered from all our devices. The Connect ecosystem relies on complex technical solutions with multiple microservices which work together to process, categorize and leverage all the information provided by activity trackers, running watches, smart scales, etc.

Garmin Golf: This is a comprehensive platform of devices and apps (including wearables, sensors, simulators and a mobile app), designed to help golfers improve their game, connect with others, and enjoy a more engaging golfing experience. Users can track scores, view scorecards, and gain insights into their performance.

Garmin Xero: Is our sportsman and tactical division, where we have devices such as chronographs,
- ranging bow sights, crossbow scopes and trapshooting trainers. We are working on solutions that help athletes to be more accurate and analyze their performances better.

We believe that collaboration leads to the best ideas, and we rely heavily on team interaction. As a hybrid role based in Cluj-Napoca, this position will require at least 3 days in the office each week

You will:

• Help, process and optimize data on Garmin Connect / Garmin Xero / Garmin Golf that support millions of users worldwide 
• Take on complex, high performance challenges with
  - edge technologies  
• Collaborate with an international team to solve challenges in multiple industries

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Java and OOP principles.
• Proven experience in designing, enhancing and developing complex Java microservices using Spring Boot (experience in
  - native application development is a plus).
• Strong understanding of Spring Framework.
• Good knowledge of web services (REST).
• Knowledgeable about relational or
  - relational databases.
• Good knowledge of unit testing.
• Good understanding of design patterns.
• Good usage skills of development tools (source control, development environment, issue tracking).
• Good knowledge of building tools and continuous delivery.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
• Team player.
