IT service technician (m/f/d) in the area of system and media technology

We are looking for applicants who can tackle the diverse tasks and extraordinary challenges at a university with a great deal of commitment and motivation and keep an overview even in stressful situations.

Your tasks

• You will be responsible for planning, setting up and supporting IT systems in the department, in particular the
  - end infrastructure and the PC and Mac pools.
• You will also be responsible for planning, setting up and supporting media technology in the department.
• You will also be responsible for the coordination and implementation of digitization projects in the department.

Our requirements

• You have a university degree (Bachelor or FH diploma) in the field of computer science or a related subject or, alternatively, have completed training suitable for the task combined with several years of relevant professional experience.
• Your comprehensive expertise in planning, setting up and operating IT systems will enable you to get off to a smooth start.
• In particular, you have experience of working with Windows, Linux and OS X systems.
• Experience in media technology is also desirable.
• You have the ability to work in a team, good communication skills and a very good command of English.
• With your structured, independent and conscientious way of working, you always master all tasks with confidence.
• Finally, you are willing to adapt your working hours flexibly to university operations.

General information about the position:

The place of work is Lippstadt. Home office arrangements are available at the university.

The permanent
- time position is to be filled at the earliest possible date.

Depending on the tasks assigned and fulfillment of the personal requirements, the position will be graded up to pay group 11 according to the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L).

In principle, positions can also be filled on a
- time basis, provided there are no official reasons to the contrary in individual cases. The university has set itself the goal of promoting the professional future of women and expressly encourages suitably qualified women to apply.
