ROLE DETAILS

Job Title: Junior Backend Developer (Job ref. 4RX83445)

Job Type: Full-time, Remote

Effort Schedule: 8 Hours/Day

We are seeking a motivated Junior Backend Developer with 1-3 years of experience to join our team. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their backend development skills, contribute to product development, and collaborate with senior developers to build
- quality backend systems.

• Assist in the development of prototypes and initial product features.
• Participate in testing of prototypes and backend functionality.
• Contribute to
  - end engineering of stable and smoothly functioning products.
• Collaborate with senior developers and the Product Owner to implement solutions with optimal value/effort.
• Help develop and document sprint stories with the team.
• Write automated tests (unit, API, integration, functional) in a continuous integration environment.
• Follow best practices under guidance from senior developers.
• Support efforts to maintain product quality (e. g. , Sonar
  Qube, Pen
  Test).

• 1-3 years of experience in backend development.
• Basic to strong proficiency in Java.
• Familiarity with Spring/Spring Boot framework.
• Basic knowledge of Microservices concepts and patterns.
• Understanding of REST API concepts; familiarity with Api
  Gee is a plus.
• Some exposure to messaging or
  - based systems (Solace, Rabbit
  MQ, Active
  MQ, Kafka).
• Knowledge of relational (Postgres) and
  - relational (Redis, Big
  Query) databases.
• Exposure to version control systems, preferably Git.
• Willingness to learn about Dev
  Ops, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
