Role: Junior Dev
Ops engineer

We are seeking an Dev
Ops Engineer to successfully carry out the migration of the application. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the migration process, ensuring that all steps are executed smoothly and efficiently while adhering to security and performance standards.

In terms of department details, the newcomer will be part of the Engineering Support Team, a transversal department which offers support to engineers from all the other local departments, in different projects. Another advantage that can be leveraged by the newcomer is the fact that he/she will have the opportunity to join an International Dev
Ops Community with more than 400 engineers from all around the world.

Mission summary:

Organize and lead
- up meetings (One-to-One meetings) to assess the progress of migration operations.

Document meeting minutes and produce summaries for management.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define user acceptance criteria and the target application version.

Develop and implement a detailed migration plan, including a migration strategy.

Perform the application migration, ensuring proper access to TDF and Azure.

Implement hardening measures to ensure the security of the migrated application.

Conduct functional tests following the migration of the application and data.

Create a data validation process to ensure the integrity of the migrations.

Perform integration tests and production tests before the launch.

Produce comprehensive documentation on application installation and migration and data integrity documentation.

Establish and maintain testing and validation documents, as well as documents related to user acceptance testing scope.

About you:

Technical study of Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics, Electronics or similar)

Solid experience with Git, Gitlab/Bitbucket

Knowledge about Sonarqube, Nexus

Experience with Jira as a ticketing tool

Significant experience in application migration, particularly skills on Automated deployment (Ansible, Python, Shell).

Strong knowledge of application migration processes, data validation, and integration testing.

Technical documentation skills and the ability to work with various project management tools.

Familiarity with TDF and Microsoft Azure access environments.

Ability to work in a team and effective communication skills.

Ability to estimate and meet commitments

Autonomous

Ability to give feedback on specification or needs expression

Agile methodology

Nice to have:

Working experience with Sonarqube

Working experience with Coverity/Blackduck

Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
