
Lead Generation & Outreach Specialist
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Lead Generation & Outreach Specialist based in Cluj-Napoca or Chisinau to join one of our partners - an outsourcing company with 10+ years of delivering complex software development services for clients in the US, UK and Australia.
From software solutions that power emerging industries with complex software architecture and integrations, to apps that improve the age-old business of sales and relationship management in B2B environments, they cover a wide range of diverse needs addressing them through methodical strategies and the latest tech.
Their winning formula encompasses a holistic approach to software development, expert guidance, and a trusted partnership.
You would join a team of 3 people with skills in lead generation, business development and marketing. The ideal candidate would encompass autonomy, proactiveness, adaptability, lead generation and follow-up management expertise plus experience with Hubspot (or other CRM systems). The targeted markets are Australia, New Zealand, the US, the UK and Europe.
Hybrid remote in Cluj-Napoca or Chisinau.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data & CRM Management
- Maintain and update lead and company records in the CRM (HubSpot or similar);
- Implement and enforce data standards (naming conventions, tagging, categorization);
- Regularly audit, clean, and de-duplicate and update lead lists;
- Create and manage list segmentation aligned with campaign and outreach strategies;
- Document processes and create playbooks for repetitive tasks.
- Lead Generation: Research & Prospect Validation
- Research and verify contact information for potential leads;
- Enrich records with company intel: size, industry, technology stack, and key decision-makers, funding status, growth signals, etc.
- Use tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or ZoomInfo for data sourcing;
- Build high-quality prospect lists tailored to specific campaigns or market segments;
- Provide research documentation and market context to support decision-making (not just data, but insights).
- Outreach Support & Follow-Up Management
- Execute or coordinate front-line outreach activities: initial outreach emails, LinkedIn
- connection requests, follow-up cadences;
- Prepare and maintain outreach sequences and follow-up reminders;
- Track engagement with outbound campaigns and update CRM status accordingly;
- Coordinate with the Business Development Manager on priority leads and next steps;
- Ensure no leads go stale or uncontacted.
- Process Optimization & Reporting
- Set-up of automation or workflows to streamline repetitive tasks;
- Monitor key metrics and act on them: list health, conversion metrics, and follow-up
- completion rates;
- Identify bottlenecks in the lead flow process and recommend improvements;
- Report regularly on data quality, lead progression, and list performance.
REQUIREMENTS
- You have 4+ years of experience in sales development in the B2B tech landscape;
- You’re detail-oriented and enjoy organizing information for maximum clarity;
- Your English is business proficient;
- You have experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or similar);
- You’re comfortable with cold calling and cold emailing;
- You have experience with prospecting tools and researching company data;
- You take ownership of your work and like seeing clean, actionable results;
- You thrive on consistency, you like things tidy, current, and logical;
- Nice to have: You’ve worked in marketing or BD operations for tech companies before and understand how clean data supports pipeline growth.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- The CRM is up-to-date, accurate, and fully reflects the state of all lead activity;
- Prospect lists are clean, complete, and ready for campaigns or outreach;
- All follow-ups are tracked and completed, nothing falls through the cracks;
- The Business Development Manager can focus more on strategy and conversations, not admin;
- In 6 months we have a functional process and automated tasks for repetitive actions
