As a Lead QA Engineer, you will be part of the Core Services team supporting the Concentrix
- Product Suite. You will work closely with software engineers and product owners to ensure the highest quality of our products, focusing on a modern testing strategy with both automated and manual tests. This role offers the opportunity to shape testing processes, mentor less senior team members, and contribute to delivering robust, scalable, and
- performing solutions across our product suite.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with software engineers and product owners to understand requirements and define comprehensive test coverage.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for different types of testing including functional, performance, and regression tests across our platform.
- Plan, execute, and document both manual and automated testing to ensure consistent product quality.
- Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on testability, quality, and maintainability aspects of the code.
- Define, implement, and continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance testing efficiency and product reliability.
- Develop testing strategies that enable support teams to quickly detect and resolve production issues.
- Perform root cause analysis for defects and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Mentor and guide less senior QA engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to software testing and quality assurance.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 8–12 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, including both automated and manual testing.
- Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for various types of testing including functional, regression, and performance tests.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, Test
NG, or similar.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Strong experience integrating testing processes into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and
- solving skills, with keen attention to detail and a structured approach to defect analysis.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to provide clear feedback and guidance.
- Proficiency in English and Romanian, both written and spoken.
