Position Overview:

The Logistics Network Capacity planning Manager plays a critical role in designing Leroy Merlin's logistics network for capacity,
- effectiveness, and sustainability. This role involves strategic planning, network optimization, data analysis, modeling, and collaboration with
- functional teams to design and implement logistics solutions that support business objectives in terms of capability and capacity while enhancing operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

• Collaborate with senior management to define strategic goals and objectives for supply chain and for logistics network.

• Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and initiatives to ensure that the logistics network’s capability and capacity support overall business strategy and needs.

• Developing strategies to enhance logistics, transportation, and inventory management.

Network Optimization:

• Analyze existing logistics networks and identify opportunities for optimization, including transportation routes, distribution centers, and inventory levels.

• Develop models and simulations to evaluate various network design scenarios and assess their impact on key performance indicators such as cost, service levels, and sustainability metrics.

• Designand optimize the logistics network to ensure efficient and
  - effective operations.

Data Analysis and Modeling:

• Utilize advanced analytics tools and techniques to analyze large datasets related to supply chain and logistics operations, including demand forecasts, inbound and outbound flow, inventory level and transportation costs. .

• Develop mathematical models and algorithms to support
  - making processes related to supply chain flow and logistics network design and optimization.

• Analyzing and modeling the

  - end supply chain and logistics network to identify areas for improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with
  - functional teams, including procurement, logistics, operations, and finance, to gather input, align objectives, and drive consensus on supply chain flow and Logistics network design decisions.

• Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.

• Collaborating with
  - functional teams to implement network design changes, evaluate suppliers, and optimize distribution networks.

Continuous Improvement:

• Monitor key performance indicators and metrics related to supply chain network design and optimization.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.

Risk Management:

• Assess potential risks and vulnerabilities within the logistics network and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruption and ensure business continuity.

• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies that may impact supply chain flow and logistics network design and operations.

Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics Operations, or related field, with a focus on network design and optimization.

Strong analytical and
- solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and optimization techniques.

Experience with supply chain modeling software (e. g. , Llamasoft, Any
Logic) preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and implement necessary changes.

Proven track record of driving results and delivering continuous improvement in supply chain operations.

Knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies in supply chain management and logistics.

Ability to thrive in a
- paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
