What you will be doing as Market Safety Lead Ukraine-Turkey-Romania

The Market Safety Lead is responsible that all people/asset safety requirements, standards and procedures are defined, set and correctly implemented within the region (Ukraine, Turkey, Romania).

The role involves travels (2-3 times per month).

This will be done through the following activities:

Coordinate people safety systems, organizations, and people safety networks (internal and external) for the market in order to identify, promote and share the best practices.

Drive the safety step change in the market and the incident free culture.

Ensure and maintain the people safety processes, procedures and standards.

Provide support and guidelines to the market and plant management in order to implement new people safety improvement initiatives and by giving technical advice to mitigate risks.

Implement the people safety strategy, action plans and training programs.

Develop and report key people safety performance measures for the region.

Schedule and ensure local audits are conducted and initiate corrective actions as appropriate.

Ensure correct reporting and action plan implementation of GRC recommendations.

Organize safety reviews of investment projects. Participate in the steering committee of large projects.

Lead root cause analysis of all accidents / incidents within the market.

Ensuring compliance with Bunge’s and the individual site’s safety rules.

Perform specific audits for sites in the market or cross market safety audits.

What do we expect from our future Market Safety Lead?

Relevant university degree

10+ years relevant experience in people and asset safety

Knowledge of risk management methodologies

Able to challenge the status quo constructively

Developed communication, networking and relationship building skills

Results orientated and strong attention to detail

Team builder and ability to conflict management
