Requirements and responsibilities
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced data solutions for the Finance Pod using Oracle Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) architecture;
- Collaborate closely with Finance and
- functional business teams to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into robust data models and ETL processes; - Build and optimize complex queries, PL/SQL procedures, and ETL jobs for seamless integration and reporting across finance operations;
- Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance in all financial data warehousing activities;
- Develop data validation and quality frameworks to support accurate financial and management reporting;
- Document architecture, data flows, and operational processes for audit and knowledge sharing;
- Provide subject matter expertise in Oracle EDW and related technologies; support data integration with other database platforms as required;
- Troubleshoot and tune performance issues in large, distributed Oracle environments.
What you’ll bring
- Strong
- on experience with Oracle EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) in a financial services or banking environment; - Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and advanced database concepts;
- Experience with ETL tools and processes for data movement and transformation in large data warehouses;
- Knowledge of financial statement structures and regulatory/reporting requirements;
- Proficiency with other database technologies (e. g. , SQL Server, DB2, Postgre
SQL) and integration best practices; - Ability to design and implement data models, partitioning, indexing, and performance optimization techniques;
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and
- solving skills; - Excellent communication skills for working with finance, compliance, and IT teams;
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications in Oracle preferred.
