Position: Oracle Forms & Reports Developer
Location: On-site, Bucharest, Romania (5 days per week at partner facilities)
Role Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Oracle Forms & Reports Developer to join an enterprise application development team in Bucharest, working fully
- site at our partners facilities.
The selected professional will be responsible for the design, development, optimization, and maintenance of Oracle Forms and Reports applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and high system performance. The role requires
- on experience with Oracle Forms & Reports (12c/14c), PL/SQL programming, and the ability to integrate and upgrade existing applications within complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Oracle Forms and Reports (12c/14c) to meet business and functional requirements.

Write, debug, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages for
- driven application logic. -
Integrate Oracle Forms applications with other enterprise components, such as Oracle Web
Logic Server. -
Participate in application migrations or upgrades from older Oracle Forms versions to newer releases.

Collaborate with analysts and end users to gather requirements and ensure accurate translation into functional application components.

Conduct unit testing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure application reliability and efficiency.

Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed or modified applications.

Support the continuous improvement of Oracle-based systems through best practices and process optimization.

Work closely with infrastructure and database teams to ensure optimal integration and deployment of Oracle Forms solutions.
Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years of
- on experience developing and maintaining Oracle Forms and Reports (12c/14c) applications. -
Strong proficiency in PL/SQL programming, including debugging and performance optimization.

Proven experience in application integration with Oracle Web
Logic Server or similar middleware components. -
Experience in migrating or upgrading legacy Oracle Forms applications to modern versions.

Solid understanding of Oracle database architecture, data modeling, and stored procedures.

Strong analytical and
- solving abilities to interpret business needs and translate them into technical solutions. -
Ability to work collaboratively within
- functional technical teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders. -
Fluency in Romanian and English (both written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience with Oracle Reports Server administration and deployment practices.

Familiarity with Oracle APEX or other Oracle development frameworks.

Understanding of web service integration, REST/SOAP APIs, or Java components within Oracle ecosystems.

Experience with source control tools (e. g. , Git, SVN) and structured development processes.
