The OSS Dev
Ops Engineer provides support and collaborates with software developers to deliver and enhance Vodafone’s Central OSS Automation services within the VNO customer portfolio. The role ensures a smooth transition of solutions from the development environment to the operational environment by following robust validation, testing, and implementation processes. It includes operating and ensuring the high availability of services, regularly developing automation scripts, and consistently seeking opportunities to optimize existing methods of working.
The engineer implements changes and performs maintenance tasks on the software solutions used by clients, prepares detailed implementation documentation, and updates the configuration or code in accordance with established procedures. The team operates from two primary locations, Lisbon, Portugal, and Bucharest, Romania, ensuring 24/7 service continuity, availability, and stability across various markets and technology domains. These domains include Data Analytics, Automation, Web Portals, Systems Environment and Release Management.

- call availability approximately once every two months, including during and outside business hours.
