Plant Controller Job Description

Plant Controller Job Overview

As a plant controller, you will oversee the daily accounting activities required to maintain the company's general ledger and produce accurate financial statements. You will also ensure the timely issuance of accounts payable checks, employee expense reports, and payroll. Your duties will also include assisting with periodic inventory counts, reconciling inventory and cost of goods sold on the general ledger, and resolving inventory discrepancies.

The ideal candidate for this position has excellent organizational skills, can work well under pressure, has strong attention to detail, is accustomed to working in a

- accountants is also required. Familiarity with Quick
Books and Sage 100 accounting software is preferred but not required.
