Antal International, on behalf of their client, an international industrial production company, is recruiting:

PLANT MANAGER - in Iasi

Role

• You are responsible for the daily management of various departments, including production, engineering, quality, supply chain, HR, and finance. You inspire and motivate your team to engage in a constructive process that prepares the organization for the future.

• Your focus is on improving productivity and efficiency, which you achieve together with your team.

• You work closely with the management team, shop floor employees, and social partners. You connect easily at all levels and know your team inside out. As a people manager, you guide them so that each team member can fully develop.

• By applying specific management techniques (Lean, Six Sigma, etc. ) in the production process, you succeed in developing a culture of improvement and encourage everyone to participate in the continuous enhancement of processes.

• You are responsible for the plant’s P&L and thus carry the final responsibility.

• You act as the primary liaison with the local union – foster a respectful and transparent relationship with union representatives.

• You support initiatives that enhance employee engagement and workplace harmony.

• You promote a culture of quality ownership across all levels of the plant.

Profile

• You hold a higher degree in engineering and quickly grasp complex files and technical matters.

• You have 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in precision component production.

• You have a
- developed business acumen and link operational performance to financial metrics.

• Thanks to your experience, you have developed excellent organisational and leadership skills and are the driving force within your department.

• You are a charismatic and strong communicator who can persuade others and bring them along in change. You take the lead in initiating change within the organisation.

• You combine technical knowledge, data, and leadership into a convincing and pragmatic approach.

• You are familiar with ERP systems and lean manufacturing principles.

• You have proven experience in quality management and labour union relations.
