Privacy Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated Privacy Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for all
- related matters within your business domain, working closely with
- functional teams and ensuring that data protection practices are embedded into daily operations. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with privacy regulations and driving a culture of data protection across the organization.

You will:

• Act as the (delegated) process owner for domain/country-specific privacy procedures, ensuring full compliance with internal policies and data protection regulations.
• Maintain and regularly update the domain's register of processing activities (ROPA), documenting data processing operations accurately and transparently.
• Oversee the
  - up of
  - compliance issues within your domain, working with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
• Support the identification, assessment, and escalation of privacy incidents and data breaches in a timely and compliant manner.
• Conduct or assist with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), identifying risks in new or existing data processing activities and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with Legal and Procurement teams to review contracts, ensuring the inclusion of Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and alignment with privacy requirements.
• Promote privacy awareness by delivering training and updates, and stay current with regulatory changes and industry best practices to inform stakeholders.

We Ask:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data privacy, compliance, or related areas
• Solid understanding of GDPR and comparable data protection laws, with practical experience applying them in
  -
  - day business operations
• Experience working in
  - facing environments is a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive mindset with the ability to handle confidential data with integrity and discretion
• Passion for staying current with privacy trends, technologies, and regulatory developments
