Process Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and ensure product quality.
- Lead and coordinate product relocation projects, including planning, risk assessment, and execution.
- Develop and implement process control strategies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with
- functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, Production) to ensure seamless integration of relocated products. - Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for
- related issues. - Contribute to FMEA and Control Plan development
- Train the operators for process and
- specific requirements. - Support commissioning and validation of new or relocated equipment and processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives (e. g. , Lean, Six Sigma).
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (materials science, mechanical).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position in the automotive/aerospace industry.
- Experience with product relocation or technology transfer projects is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of metallurgical processes such as casting, forging, heat treatment, or surface treatment is considered an advantage.
- Experience in continuous improvement of processes.
- Good knowledge of preventive maintenance.
- Proficiency in process simulation tools and data analysis.
- Excellent
- solving, project management, and communication skills - Fluent in Romanian and English languages, additional German language knowledge is an advantage.
