As a Production Planner for the Painting and Assembly Department, you will coordinate and ensure the smooth flow of orders to achieve planned production targets, aligning with the company’s objectives, schedule, and quality standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as the Romanian company's liaison with the international parent company, for planning and product delivery, ensuring adherence to delivery dates.
- Track and plan orders based on purchase orders (POs) to ensure timely delivery for the Painting and Assembly Department.
- Collaborate with the logistics manager to report shipment volumes and delays, including reasons for delays, and participate in identifying solutions.
- Communicate with the department manager regarding any changes to the production plan.
- Translate POs for the
- collar workforce if they are unclear. - Manage stock of materials necessary for production within the Painting and Assembly Department.
- Later will also plan the upholstery and wood department.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in production and/or floor planning.
- Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to understand technical drawings and data.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to collaborate with both the international branch and the Romanian team.
- Decision-making skills and an understanding of their impact on the company’s overall operations.
