For our customer a big pharmaceutical company in Basel we are looking for a highly qualified Professional Laboratory Worker

Background:

We, in Pharmaceutical Development and Supplies, are looking for an experienced laboratory worker to support the development of biologics and synthetic molecules for clinical phases and launch. This includes parenteral formulation development of antibodies, peptides, oligonucleotides, and process development and validation activities of the aseptic filling process.



The perfect candidate:

Has a completed apprenticeship as a biology lab worker and more than 3 years of experience in the field. The person is familiar with the formulation and process development of parenteral dosage forms, Aseptic manufacturing Physico-chemical analysis of parenteral dosage forms such as visual inspection, and other lab techniques. Additionally, the candidate is motivated,
- minded, open for changes, willing to constantly learn, work independently, and can communicate in both English and German.



Tasks & Responsibilities :

Independent planning, performance, analysis and data consolidation of formulation and process development studies together with the pharmaceutical project leader

. Manufacturing of formulation and process development samples at a laboratory scale: preparation of primary packaging and equipment, compounding/dissolution of API powder, sterile filtration and aseptic filling

. Physico-chemical analysis of formulation and process development samples

. Document studies in the electronic lab notebook and ensure data integrity

. Bring creative ideas/innovation on new technologies and new methods for continuous improvement or innovation projects



Must Haves:

-Completed apprenticeship in Chemistry or Biology lab worker, Pharmaceutical technical assistant, chemical technical assistant or similar degree

. Min. 3 years working experience in the field

. Experienced in formulation and process development of parenteral dosage forms, Aseptic manufacturing Physico-chemical analysis of parenteral dosage forms such as visual inspection, analysis of subvisible particles, color, turbidity, p
H, osmolality, SE-HPLC, IE-HPLC, CE-SDS Experienced in data evaluation, data interpretation and documentation of results

. Skilled in digital tools like e
LN (eg Benchling), MS, Empower

. very good German skills, English - good understanding and conversational level

. excellent Communication skills

. Team oriented and eager to collaborate with team members
