GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Project & Engineering Manager coordinates and verifies the work of the Engineering and Maintenance departments, ensuring the implementation and application of safety and environmental guidelines as defined by the competent departments and in alignment with Plant Management. The role is responsible for the reliability, efficiency, and compliance of all machineries, utilities, and networks present at the site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / AUTHORITIES (IF APPLICABLE)

• Ensure machinery, utilities, and networks meet safety standards in accordance with local regulations.
• Maintain and improve the reliability and efficiency of machinery, utilities, and plant networks.
• Lead plant investment projects related to machineries, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Manage the maintenance budget and ensure cost control.
• Coordinate and oversee external contractors for emergency, scheduled, and preventive maintenance.
• Guarantee technical support for utilities systems (e. g. , steam, water, HVAC, compressed air, power distribution, etc. ).
• Ensure compliance with legal and
  - specific environmental, safety, and
  - efficiency requirements.

KEY DELIVERABLES / KPIs (IF APPLICABLE)

• Safe operation of machinery, utilities, and networks per local legislation and internal standards.
• Maintenance cost control and optimization.
• Availability and reliability of critical equipment and utilities.
• Engineering and Maintenance team performance (training, hiring, engagement).
• Spare parts availability and critical stock management.
• Successful completion of CAPEX and technical improvement projects on time and within budget.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, EDUCATION…)

• 8–10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong engineering background (mechanical, automation, or electrical preferred).
• Experience with utilities and infrastructure systems management.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Strong leadership skills and ability to engage and develop teams.
• Ability to work independently and see the big picture.
• Strategic planning and execution capabilities.
• Strong
  - solving skills and ability to manage complexity under pressure.
