Mitel is looking for a talented Project Manager with a strong Agile background who is passionate about Agile practices and helping additional teams and other groups within Mitel make the transition to Agile.

This candidate will coach multiple Development teams using a
- defined and customized software development life cycle process. This would include process definition, Agile software development with cross functional communication. This position will also help define and refine the metrics that have been used to track process improvement across the PMO and R&D organizations.

This candidate will assist the program teams at Release level in report status of multiple features within releases to leadership.

Responsibilities:

- Team Guidance: Coach and mentor development teams (initially) in adopting and improving Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, or a hybrid approach).

- Facilitation: Facilitate community of Practice (Co
P) sessions, such as, the Lean-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) or RTE Synch meetings, ensuring they are productive and effective.

- Principle Evangelism: Champion Agile values and principles, helping teams understand the "why" behind the practices.

- Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of continuous learning and adaptation within teams, guiding them to
- organize and improve their processes.

- Training Support: Assist in developing and delivering Agile training materials and workshops for teams and individuals.

- Metrics and Reporting: Help teams identify and track relevant Agile metrics (e. g. , velocity, lead time, cycle time) to foster
- driven improvement.

- Coaching and Collaboration: Help foster open communications both within and outside the team to enhance managing dependencies and issue resolutions.

Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Experience: 3+ years of experience in project coordination, project support, or
- level Agile role (e. g. , Scrum Master, Agile Team Member). Background in Software development and an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is a plus.

- Agile Knowledge: Intermediate understanding of Agile principles, values, and common frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework). Scrum Master certification (CSM) is a plus.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.

- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build relationships, influence without authority, and work collaboratively with diverse and geographically dispersed teams across different time zones.

- Problem-Solving: Proactive and analytical approach to identifying and resolving issues.

- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and pay attention to detail.

- Passion for Agile: A genuine enthusiasm for Agile methodologies and a desire to help others embrace new ways of working.

- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a
- paced, evolving environment and adapt to changing priorities.

- Tools: Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Asana, Share
Point and Microsoft products.
