For our business partner, one of the largest integrators of IT and physical security solutions for national and European critical infrastructure, we are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join their growing team.

This role is focused on ensuring the stability, performance, and quality of web and API-based applications through robust test automation practices. You will work closely with
- functional teams to design and maintain automated test suites, contributing to the reliability of systems that support
- critical operations.

This is a
- time, on-site role based in Bucharest.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test scripts for UI (React) and API (REST) testing
• Use tools such as Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e. g. , Jenkins, Git
  Hub)
• Perform API testing using Postman and related tools
• Write and execute SQL queries on Oracle databases for test data setup and validation
• Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce, and validate defects and bug fixes
• Track and manage test cases and results using tools like Test
  Rail or Test Link
• Contribute to test strategy and framework improvements
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in test automation
• Strong knowledge of automated testing tools (Cypress, Selenium, Playwright)
• Experience with API automation (REST Assured, Postman collections + Newman)
• Solid understanding of React
  - end testing (DOM structure, component behaviour)
• Proficiency with SQL databases for data validation and manipulation
• Experience with test management tools (Test
  Rail, Test Link)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical and
  - solving skills

Nice to Have

• Experience writing automated tests in Java
  Script/Type
  Script, Java, or Python
• Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter) or API contract testing (Postman)
• Familiarity with React Testing Library
• Basic knowledge of Docker or containerized test environments
• Experience with test reporting tools (Allure, Extent Reports)
