ISTQB (junior) Selenium (regular) SQL (advanced) Role Purpose: As a Software QA engineer, you will be responsible to work closely with Software Development Engineers and Quality Assurance Engineers where you will be ensuring the quality of deliverables through the application of manual and automated tests. You will be defining and maintaining test cases while coming up with initiatives that improve test procedures. Accountabilities: Create, review, maintain and execute test plans and test cases
Establish and maintain test automation frameworks
Develop new automated tests and tools for our product's frontend, backend APIs and other services
Identify product deficiencies and suggest solutions to ensure the highest quality for our products
Strive for the fastest feedback possible. Test parallelization should be a top priority
Able to challenge the Product Owner and Developers whenever required with the aim of achieving higher quality standards
Work with development teams throughout the entire development life cycle and perform planned and
- hoc testing
Establish and evolve processes and best practices which would ensure quality goals are met
Perform investigative testing to determine possible causes of issues
Promote and ensure that Quality Assistance Gates are constantly being followed and improved
Collaborate with Software Development Engineers and Quality Assurance Engineers to determine which tests would provide most benefit and prioritizing automation of those tests accordingly Knowledge, Experience & Skills: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in manual and 1 year experience in automation software QA (ideally Selenium)Degree in Information Technology or another related field Excellent knowledge of UX/UI testing and attention to details. Solid knowledge of SQL Good knowledge of version control systems
Solid knowledge of Test Scenarios and Test Plans for any software project
Proof of working experience with Code development and API testing preferably using JSExperience working in a comparable role typically in i
Gaming would be considered an advantage
Possession of Foundation ISTQB certification is nice to have
Passion for being QA advocate to raise the bar for better quality gates
Good level of analytical and troubleshooting skills would be considered as an asset
Self-motivated and a fast learner
