Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and
- thinking Quality Assurance Manager to lead and mature our QA function for a complex,

S/Paa
S platform. You will oversee a team of 7 QA analysts/testers who partner closely with Product Engineering, Support Engineering, and the Product Release teams. This role combines
- on test leadership, team management, QA strategy development, and a strong focus on automation, orchestration, and AI-driven quality improvements.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 7-10 QA analysts/testers across multiple agile development squads.
- Manage workload allocation, backlog prioritisation, and capacity planning.
- Define and monitor QA performance metrics (coverage, defect leakage, automation %, test velocity, etc. ).
- Build a team culture centred on quality, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Champion best practices and modern QA principles across the organisation.
QA Strategy & Execution
- Own and evolve the QA strategy, methodologies, and standards for functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing.
- Review feature specifications, stories, epics, and acceptance criteria to ensure clarity and testability.
- Oversee the creation, review, and execution of test plans, test effort estimations, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure the consistency, completeness, and quality of QA outputs across all development teams.
- Drive a
- left mindset, embedding QA earlier in the development lifecycle.
Test Automation & Process Optimisation
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated test suites (preferably ACCELQ).
- Partner with the Release team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify opportunities for automation, test orchestration, and AI-led quality improvements.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, reducing manual overhead and boosting efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a key liaison between Product Engineering, Support Engineering, Customer Success, and Product Release.
- Communicate test results, release readiness, risks, and mitigation plans clearly and effectively in English.
- Ensure
- reported issues feed back into test coverage and QA strategy. - Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to refine release quality gates and standards.
Requirements
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, including 3+ years in a QA management role.
- Proven experience delivering
- quality releases in a Saa
S or Paa
S environment. - Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing strategies, and the full QA lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with functional, regression, and automated testing of
- based applications. - Working knowledge of automation tools (ACCELQ strongly preferred); familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience managing QA metrics, reporting, planning, and operational performance.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and fluent in English.
- Ability to lead a remote and globally distributed team.
Preferred Qualifications
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
- Experience with Java
Script-based applications, SQL, BPMN workflows, APIs. - Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and test management tools.
- Experience with Postman, Swagger, or other API testing tools.
- Background in Supplier Information Management or ERP ecosystems (SAP or Oracle).
