We are currently seeking to grow our engineering team dedicated on developing our next generation products in our Research and Development (R&D) department located in Sibiu.

This role is ideally suited for someone who has at least 5years of experiencein project management. Thesuccessful applicant will be joining a newly created team with plenty of opportunity to learn new things and develop in his career.

In Sibiu, the activity will take place at SIMEA, for the Smart Infrastructure and Electrical Products team.

The ideal candidate would be someone who has extensive experience in hardware and software project management.

New role – challenging and
- oriented:

You will be responsible for the project management of product related topics in the field of switching/protection devices in low voltage distributionarea.

Activities for this role focuson designing electronic products, requiring a good understanding of hardware development processes.

Relevant experienceor involvement in software projects is desired.

A deep understanding of the physical phenomenon’s that underline electronic, mechanicaland electrical functionality of products is needed.

You will mainly be responsible for organizing and collaborating in the further development of products in the SENTRON portfolio and in the relevant teams (PLM teams, project teams, development teams etc. ).

You will directly coordinate hardwaresample production, so understanding all related processes is critical. In addition, a good ability to breakdown large complex problems/pieces of work into smaller, manageable goals/releases is essential.

You will also clarify the requirements, define the work packages for development colleaguesand coordinate the cooperation with manufacturing and external partners.

You will take chargein planning and tracking resources, inputs, deadlines and costs, as well as measures to increase productivity.

You will engage in international collaboration. You will also ensure compliance with company internal processes and carry out risk management.

Fostering open communicationwithin the lifecycle and with customers and stakeholders is the key to success.

You form the project teams, inspire and support the team to grow.

The structured processing of topics, the preparation of decision documents and the making of technical and economic decisions within the framework of project.

You will support the implementation and creation of processes and procedures with active involvement in audits and quality evaluations.

Requirements:

Excellent planning abilities, advanced consulting techniques, design thinking and facilitation skills

Being
- responsible within your product group and ability to work collaboratively

Self-motivated, easily takes responsibility and manage occasional stressful periods

Positive mindset, feels happy to jump in and support the team whenever possible

An ability to think creatively and laterally to design solutions that are viable and feasible

Knowledge and experience in development of HW and SW projects is necessary

Several years of practical experience in the research and development as well as knowledge of the corresponding processes

Theoretical and practical knowledge of Agile development frameworks is a plus

Experience with Azure Dev
Ops is highly desirable

Effective communicator that can present to both technical and
- technical audiences and can use these skills to influence across all levels of the organization

We require the ability to work in a team, creativity, and flexibility to take up new topics

Cross-cultural experience is required as you will work closely with our international development locations

University degree (Electronics, Computer Science, Informatics, etc. )

Excellent English both spoken and written, rounds off your profile
