- site services for UPS range of products produced by Schneider Electric for its customers and their projects. This includes commissioning, technical
- site analysis & suport, supervision during installation or commissioning and resolving customer’s issues. Regional Service Representative for UPS is primary focusing on complex & critical projects in a field of Secure Power installations (UPS, Battery cabinets, Transfer Switches) Location & commitments Slovakia or your home country (time spent offsite) Locations: Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Spain Possibility to work remotely Extensive international travel (70%) within Europe, mostly: Germany, France, BENELUX, Norden Europe, UK and others (we offer financial bonus for travelling) To be an EU passport holder is mandatory for this role, please respect Main responsibilities Perform Startup & Commissioning on all equipment across the entire secure power (UPS) product range Evaluate unit’s installation (e. g. the quality of connections, assembly, readiness for
- up… ) Evaluate system's installation & operational conditions Ability to perform onsite adjustments to bring the units to the best running conditions Support customers in the installation, modification and repair of UPS product range Be able to identify if the failure is related to a quality issue/software issue / operation condition issue (Root cause Analysis) Work with another Schneider Electric service engineers & partners during site interventions Interact with with L3 suport with objective to solve issues
- site Provide training to Schneider Electric customers on operations of the equipment Interact with customers on site or remotely on the level and type of support required Ability to perform preventive & corrective maintenance for UPS products & systems #LI-KS4 Requirements Thorough understanding UPS principles and knowledge of electricity must be able to perform duties with general direction, receiving only general guidance with respect to overall objectives Work is usually quite independent of other team members Must comply with all safety policies, practices, procedures, and standards Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures, professional documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables Handle multiple tasks simultaneously Willingness to travel internationally for 70% of the working time (and more) Education and Experience Diploma/bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent 5 years with commissioning or field service repair with secure power Confirmed experience with Secure Power insulations (UPS, Battery cabinets, Transfer Switches) Experience with installation and commission in Data Center is real advantage Knowledge and experience in diagnosing and repairing electronic circuitry on a component level Mandatory: fluent communication in English language (B2+ level min) Flexibility & Reliability, focus on technical details & Customer focus, Team player, Leadership skills Good Software tools literacy: Auto
