Our client, a global leader in cybersecurity and risk management, is seeking a Resident Engineer to join their Bucharest team. This is a

- on technical role embedded within the customer’s environment. You’ll collaborate closely with client teams to plan, deploy, and operationalize the platform — ensuring optimal performance, continuous improvement, and maximum value delivery.

Tasks

• Manage
  -
  - end platform deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
• Ensure system uptime through regular health checks and proactive monitoring.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Success, Technical Account Management, Sales) to refine requirements and implement best practices.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting for complex issues within customer networks.
• Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and technical users.
• Analyze logs and events to produce actionable insights and threat analysis reports.
• Develop and maintain platform documentation, policies, and dashboards.
• Train customer teams on platform usage and new feature adoption.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Resident Engineer, Professional Services Engineer, Consultant, or similar role.
• Strong
  - on experience in networking (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, network security) and Linux administration.
• Experience in cybersecurity (Endpoint, SOAR, SIEM) and API-based security integration.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize complex systems.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management ability.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH) are a plus.
