We’re helping Instantly. ai hire a
- on Retention & Lifecycle Marketer to drive meaningful increases in user conversion and retention. You’ll own onboarding, email automation,
- app flows, and
- engagement strategies across a
- volume Saa
S product. This is a critical,
- impact role reporting directly to the founding team.
? What You'll Do:
Design and optimize onboarding journeys in Intercom to move users from trial to activation.
Build and manage email automation campaigns for onboarding, retention, and winback — working with tools like Intercom, Active
Campaign, Mailchimp, and Klaviyo.Run
- app campaigns: popups, tooltips, nudges, and upsell flows.Develop lifecycle segmentation strategies across a contact base of ~80, 000 users.
Improve the trial-to-paid conversion rate from 25% to 30–35%.
Analyze campaign performance and user behavior to optimize KPIs: activation, retention, expansion.
Collaborate closely with the Product, Growth, and CS teams to align messaging and strategy.

✅ You’re a Fit If You:
Have hands-on experience with lifecycle marketing in Saa
S / PLG companies.Know Intercom inside and out — campaign logic, automation, segmentation.
Can fully own the lifecycle journey: from planning to execution.
Think in funnels, triggers, retention metrics, and copy that converts.
Are comfortable working independently and
- functionally with Product, Marketing, and Founders.Bonus: You've scaled retention and monetization at similar
- driven Saa
S products.
? Reporting & Process:
You’ll report directly to the founders or the Senior Marketing Manager.
Interview process includes video
- screen (recorded with key questions), a short test task (e. g. , creating a sample email flow), and 1–2 interviews with the founders.Reference checks will be conducted after the interview stage.
This is a remote,
- based role with flexible location, full ownership, and a direct impact on product growth and retention.
