The Sales Manager PSS & E2E (Europe) will be responsible for driving growth by developing new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts for Emerson’s Machine Automation Solutions (MAS) within PSS & Emerson to Emerson (E2E).

This role demands a proactive,
- oriented mindset and the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity while delivering
- class customer service. The successful candidate will leverage the full MAS portfolio to grow orders from PSS & E2E, build strategic relationships, and execute winning strategies.

While not essential, an understanding of Operational Technology (OT) and/or Information Technology (IT) is advantageous. This position offers excellent scope for career advancement within a
- performance sales culture. This role will be based out of the Cluj office of Emerson in Romania.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

To achieve and exceed sales targets by winning new business and growing existing PSS & E2E accounts in line with the sales plan.

Within PSS & E2E, to identify and develop new business opportunities, including emerging markets, new clients, and strategic partnerships.

To build and maintain strong relationships with PSS & E2E clients, understanding their business drivers and delivering tailored solutions that create
- term value.

To demonstrate agility and resilience in navigating ambiguity and complex
- making environments within PSS & E2E.

To deliver
- class customer experiences through responsiveness, consultative engagement, and
- oriented selling to PSS & E2E.

To collaborate effectively across Emerson business units and functions to maximize opportunities and align with strategic objectives.

To actively contribute to building a
- performance sales culture through accountability, innovation, and knowledge sharing.

To utilize sales processes and tools effectively, including Solution Selling, Account Plans, CRM (Salesforce), and structured negotiation techniques.

To maintain accurate forecasting, booking data, and monthly forecast updates throughout the fiscal year.

To develop a strong understanding of MAS products, the competitive landscape, and position within Emerson to maximize success.

To ensure compliance with trade regulations, ethical business practices, and company policies.

To perform other responsibilities within your skills and abilities as reasonably instructed.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.

Proven sales hunter mindset with a track record of driving growth and winning in competitive markets.

Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed ambitious sales targets in automation and industrial software within a B2B environment.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, capable of influencing senior
- makers.

Highly organized,
- oriented, and able to thrive independently while collaborating across
- performing,
- functional teams.

Evidence of securing new business and building
- term strategic relationships with customers.

Solid understanding of Edge, Io
T, IIo
T, and Industry 4. 0 technologies.

Experienced in project, solution, and service contract selling with a consultative approach.

Ability to quickly grasp and apply Emerson’s portfolio to deliver customer success.

Proven success in developing strong internal networks and leveraging a matrix organization to accelerate results.

Demonstrates a proactive, flexible, and pragmatic approach to challenges and opportunities.

Computer literacy essential, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Power
Point).

Ability to travel extensively as required to deliver results.

Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Prior experience in automation sales, especially with PLC, IPC, and SCADA platforms.

Prior experience in dealing with an Emerson-to-Emerson environment, particularly the SYSS BU.

Additional European languages are an advantage.

Local market knowledge to maximize impact.
