SAP Basis Administrator – IT Operations Europe (m/f/d)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive SAP Basis Administrator to join our European IT Operations team. This role is critical to maintaining and evolving our SAP landscape, supporting both
- premise and
- based systems, and ensuring seamless operations across multiple business units and geographies.
Your tasks:
- Administer and support a diverse SAP landscape including ERP (P01, I01, E01, etc. ), S/4HANA (S4P, S4I, S4E, S4S, S4T), HR systems (HP1, HP2, HP6), CRM, SCP, and others.
- Manage upgrades, system copies, and
- copy activities. - Prepare clients for SIT/UAT phases.
- Support SAP HEC, Cloud Connector and BTP environments, including ticket creation and resolution.
- Administer HANA databases (user creation, role assignment).
- Manage cloud connectors and support OMS topics (e. g. , printer installation, troubleshooting).
- Maintain CUA (Central User Administration) including system onboarding/offboarding.
- Support LMDB/SLD in SAP Solution Manager.
- Provide SAP Basis expertise for
- out projects, emergency exercises, and strategic initiatives like Cloud ALM. - Handle daily Service
Now tickets and
- call support rotations. - Support archiving processes (COI) and Success
Factors integrations. - Collaborate with functional specialists and local admins to ensure system readiness and issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in SAP Basis administration across complex landscapes.
- Strong knowledge of HANA DB, SAP HEC, BTP, and cloud connectors.
- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, LMDB, SLD, and CUA.
- Experience with Service
Now or similar ITSM platforms. - Experience with SAP emergency planning and recovery exercises.
- Exposure to
- out and migration projects (e. g. ECC to S/4HANA). - Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multicultural teams.
- Ability to manage multiple systems and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Advanced English language skills, both written and spoken.
