Role description:
Own the
-
- end portfolio of SAP S/4HANA modules and processes with a strong focus on standardization (clean core) and the transformation towards the public cloud. Ensure functional excellence, stable cloud operations, and continuous improvement across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Produce, integration with Warehouse/Transportation, and Record-to-Report by maximizing adoption of SAP Best Practices and minimizing the custom footprint.
Core modules and domains
- Sales / Order-to-Cash: SD
- Sourcing & Procurement / Procure-to-Pay: MM
- Manufacturing / Plan-to-Produce: PP-PI, QM
- Integrations, especially with Logistics,
- commerce, and POS; Planning: SAP APO; IBP (desirable) - Finance / Record-to-Report: FI, CO, AA, CO-PA; optional Group Reporting, Central Finance
- Master Data
- Extensions, UX, Analytics: Fiori, Embedded Analytics
Key Responsibilities
Standardization and SAP portfolio ownership
- Define and govern the SAP portfolio based on SAP Best Practices and scope items; drive harmonization of processes, organizational structures, and master data across business units.
- Establish and enforce
- core guardrails (standard-first, no core modifications, API-first). - Define authorization and role concepts aligned to the standard.
Strategy and architecture
- Define and communicate the module and process strategy; decide scope, fit/gap, and standard vs. extension.
- Drive process harmonization and reuse across business units.
Delivery, rollouts, and operations
- Lead implementations and rollouts using a
-
- standard approach. - Ensure stable operations (incident/problem/change), release, and test management.
- Plan and execute data migrations, regression testing, training, and hypercare.
Leadership and team building
- Lead module experts (SD, MM, PP, FI/CO, etc. ); provide coaching, mentoring, and career development.
- Define the sourcing strategy for SAP consulting service providers.
- Create staffing plans aligned to module/process demand; recruit SAP functional consultants.
Stakeholder and partner management
- Collaborate with business stakeholders in Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and E-commerce to align roadmaps and backlogs.
- Manage external implementation and AMS partners; define SLAs and performance KPIs.
- Mediate and resolve conflicts across teams and domains to safeguard stable operations.
Support local countries teams
- Act as the key expert supporting Tchibo country teams in SAP usage.
- Provide guidance to enhance, optimize, and adapt SAP modules based on business requirements using a
- to standard approach. - Collaborate with local stakeholders to identify pain points and translate them into sustainable SAP solutions.
- Drive knowledge transfer and training programs to upskill local users and
- users. - Ensure alignment of SAP processes across countries for consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
Your profile:
- 8+ years in SAP consulting with substantial S/4HANA experience. Deep expertise in at least two core modules (e. g. , SD, MM, EWM, FI/CO, PP) and strong

- end process knowledge across O2C, P2P, Plan-to-Produce, and R2R. - Proven leadership of multiple S/4 implementations/rollouts as design
authority/template owner/lead. - Proven leadership of S/4HANA transformations, ideally to S/4HANA Cloud, public edition (RISE), or hybrid/two-tier scenarios.
- Retail/omnichannel/CPG experience is a plus (pricing/promotions,
- commerce integration, fulfillment, POS). - Familiarity with Fiori, Embedded Analytics; BTP extension patterns and integration scenarios (CPI/EDI).
- Strong leadership, communication, and facilitation skills; confident stakeholder management. Business-fluent English.
