Your day to day:
Vodafone Network Operations exists to assure our many networks and technologies across Europe, maximising the availability of our products and services through proactive and reactive maintenance to prevent incidents and minimise outage time for our customers. Digital & ZTO is key to meeting this goal through the delivery of tools and automation to adopt a data led approach, minimise opportunity for error, and ultimately increase the efficiency of the department through the automation of routine activity.
The Scrum Master Specialist is acting as a project coordinator and
- leader for the customer’s team and manages agile activities on a
-
- day basis, defining priorities and helping to ensure that scope and timelines are adhered to.
As a Scrum Master, the role is to coordinate, coach and guide the teams on Agile best practises, and achieve their sprints / release goals. . Support the teams in following Scrum/ SAFe processes and practices.
Identifies major risks and removes obstacles that squad team might face during customer requirements delivery.

• Coordinate various projects delivery using Agile methodologies: Sa
Fe, Scrum
• Organize and facilitate key Agile events including daily standups, reviews, retrospectives, planning, refining and escalation mitigation calls
• Work with the squad members to hold backlog refinement sessions and ensure upcoming objectives and work are understood and aligned with the project’s measurable outcomes
• Define and set priorities, timelines, manage and mitigate risks assuring project deliverables are met
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that squad members might face during project delivery
• Manage each sprint with cross functional teams assuring delivery for all sprint activities
• After sprint planning, prepare the implementation plan for each project based on the team capacity
• Coordinate the flow of work through the team using visualisation boards and delivery data, holding planning/replenishment sessions as needed
• Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
• Ensure that the teams follow the rules of Scrum and SAFe.
• Support Agile and Scrum principles, assisting team members in continuous improvement
• Help teams implement changes effectively
• Harness delivery data to produce credible delivery forecasts and progress reporting
• Take an active role in the Agile community of practice, being a source of agile knowledge and experience.
• Organize and facilitate customer facing meetings to provide regular updates on the product delivery
With these skills you are a great candidate:
• Experience in IT/Telco operations roles with proven track record of delivering results.
• Experience as a Scrum Master for at least 3 years, in a software development team is desirable
• Good knowledge and understanding of Agile frameworks, eg SAFe, Scrum, Kanban
• Experience working with agile methodologies and Dev
Ops concepts in public cloud environment, such as Continuous Delivery / Integration
• Experience working in a
- teams environment, different cultures,
- location will be a plus
• Excellent English verbal and written communications and collaboration skills
• Excellent
- solving skills, with the ability to minimize overhead tasks for the team and manage interdependencies with other teams
• Excellent relationship building and influencing skills, with the ability to foster an inclusive team culture
• Strong
- management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and comfortable working under pressure
• Working experience in managing highly business critical environments.
• Ability to build and maintain strong ongoing business relationships at a strategic level with internal and external customers.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• Experience working closely with agile methodologies, such as Scrum, SAFe, and with teams leveraging Dev
Ops and Continuous Delivery / Integration
• Professional experience and knowledge of the Telco industry preferred
