Job Summary

The Site Security Manager will be responsible for ensuring the protection of the People, Assets, Information and Reputation of the GKNA site.  The Site Security Manager will have the experience, capability and capacity to manage physical and Information Security and provide operational direction and support to the site through the delivery of a security risk management program. This will enable the site to play its part in enabling GKN Aerospace to meet its business priorities, contractual and regulatory obligations and maintain its ‘License to Operate. ’

Internal collaboration with the Central Security Team (CST), Defense Business Line Security Lead (BLSL) and functional stakeholders will be key to understanding the risks and delivering solutions which support the site. Where appropriate, liaison with Contracting Authorities and customer peers will ensure that expectations are understood and obligations met. The Site Security Manager will act as the point of contact for all security aspects at the site, providing advice and support, driving governance & compliance, managing physical and technical security improvement programs, monitoring travel security risks, security incident reporting, conducting investigations and delivering training and awareness programs across the site.
