Senior AWS DevOps Engineer with Python

Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer with strong Python expertise to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across multiple domains including Digital Marketing, Fintech, Healthcare, and Finance.
The role involves working on 6 projects simultaneously in a shared capacity, providing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions while ensuring automation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multiple projects.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, product owners) to deliver robust solutions.
- Implement best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Manage security, compliance, and governance across environments.
- Support multiple projects in different domains with tailored DevOps solutions.
Required Skills
- AWS expertise (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc. ).
- Strong Python development, scripting and automation skills.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar).
- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
- Solid knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
- Strong background in Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
- Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proven experience managing multi-project, multi-domain cloud infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer Professional certification is a plus.
- Experience in highly regulated industries (Fintech, Healthcare, Finance) is an advantage.
