ROLE DETAILS

Job Title: Senior Backend Developement (Job ref. 4RX83445)

Job Type: Full-time, remote

Effort Schedule: 8 Hours/Day

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer with 5+ years of
- on experience to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building
- quality backend systems and eager to contribute to both the architecture and technical direction of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Development of first functioning prototypes;
• Prototype testing;
• Back-end engineering of stable, smoothly functioning products;
• Lead team and other discussions for technical solutions and product ideas in design reviews, pair programming, and code review;
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to define the implementation with the best value/effort ratio;
• Develop and document the Stories of the Sprint with other team members;
• Create automated tests (unit, API, integration, function) in a continuous integration environment;
• Ensure that the best practices are in place in accordance with the Lead Developer guidance and promotes new ones;
• Take ownership for the quality of the product (Sonar
  Qube, Pen
  Test, etc. )

Requirements:

• Backend Developement (5+ years);
• Strong proficiency in Java;
• Spring/Spring Boot framework familiarity;
• Good knowledge of Microservices concepts and patterns;
• Good knowledge of REST API concepts and Api
  Gee;
• Messaging and
  - based systems (Solace or Rabbit
  MQ or Active
  MQ or Kafka);
• Knowledge of relational (Postgres) and
  - relational (Redis, Big
  Query) database;
• Experience with usage of Generative AI tools (Copilot Git
  Hub, Git
  Lab Duo);
• Git source control system
  - on experience;
• Scalability experience;
• Dev
  Ops knowledge is a plus;
• Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform is a plus;
• Familiarity with the Agile methodology (2+ years experience working in an Agile team);
• Great interpersonal and communication skills;
• Fluency in English/ French is a plus.
