We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support the migration of our General Ledger (GL) system from a legacy platform to a modern, scalable architecture. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, data flows are understood, and solutions are designed to meet both operational and regulatory needs.  

Hybrid (3 days/per week at the office)

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis

• Engage with finance, risk, and IT stakeholders to capture business requirements.
• Analyze the existing GL system, including chart of accounts, accounting logic, and financial data structures.
• Translate functional requirements into clear specifications for technical teams.

• Process & System Mapping

  • Identify all feeder and consumer systems interacting with the GL (payments, lending, core banking, reconciliation).

  • Assess current integration flows and define the changes required for the new GL environment.

  • Document system interactions, data mappings, and process flows.

• Migration Support

  • Lead the analysis and validation of data mapping from legacy systems to the new GL, including historical balances and transactions.

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and traceability across platforms during migration and cutover.

  • Support reconciliation processes by ensuring posting logic and interfaces align with reconciliation requirements.

• University degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline.

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within banking or financial services.
• Proven track record of involvement in General Ledger or ERP system migrations.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and transaction flows.
• Experience working with integration projects and system interfaces (upstream/downstream).
• Skilled in documenting business requirements, functional specifications, data mappings, and process diagrams.
• Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to bridge business and technical perspectives.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to data integrity and regulatory requirements.

• Familiarity with Oracle GL or ERP platforms (e. g. , Oracle Cloud).

• Exposure to payment systems and reconciliation processes.

• Knowledge of ETL/data integration pipelines in financial contexts.

• Awareness of modern architectures (APIs, microservices, cloud solutions).
