Tasks
Tasks

Take part in all application development lifecycle phases

Assess project requirements and transform them into actionable insights

Design, develop, and test technical solutions/applications that meet
- quality standards

Contribute to improving data quality, reliability, and efficiency of existing solutions

Take ownership of tasks and projects, both as a developer and as a technical leader

Effectively mentor a growing team of data enthusiasts, laying out the development strategy and important milestones to be reached by the team

Participate in and lead the technical organization of internships, workshops, and workgroups

Participate in business development initiatives, and contribute to growing the project base

Qualifications
Qualifications

Experience with Power BI and SQL, especially the Microsoft SQL Server BI services (SSIS, SSAS)

Knowledge of database architecture and modeling

Experience with building data platforms on cloud platforms (Azure Data Platform, AWS or equivalent)

Solid knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks

Open mindset, ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and learn new practices

Experience with T-SQL development, stored procedures, functions, triggers, tables, views

Strong understanding of transactional processing, retention policies, relational architecture, lock handling

Hands-on experience with execution plans, linked servers, query store, and OLAP models

Good communication skills with the ability to develop strong client relationships

Ability to act as SPOC for technical matters in projects and to lead more junior project members Understanding of project management milestones and project development phases

Willingness and preparedness to mentor and train junior colleagues in the aforementioned technologies
