About the Opportunity

I'm recruiting on behalf of a European tech company that is transforming the FMCG industry.

Why This Role Matters

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead the development of machine learning and optimisation models that directly impact performance across a
- scale delivery network. This is a
- on role where your work goes straight into production and drives measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Build Real Time ML models for ETAs, risk prediction, and task acceptance

- Design adaptive systems that respond to dynamic operational data

- Develop and manage experimentation frameworks including A/B and switchback testing

- Apply optimisation techniques to routing and dispatch logic

- Deploy models in collaboration with engineering, ensuring scalability and stability

What My Client Is Looking For

- 4+ years in Data Science, including 3+ in FMCG roles

- Strong statistical knowledge with experience in causal inference and experiment design

- Advanced Python or Scala skills, plus solid SQL proficiency

- Experience building and deploying ML in Real Time or
- driven environments

Tech Environment

- Event-based systems, distributed pipelines, Kafka, Airflow, Spark, Docker
