ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a versatile Senior Full Stack Developer, proficient with Node, React, Typescript and AWS, to join a team that builds and maintains a robust and fast, cloud-based platform in the FinTech space using the latest technologies.

As a Senior Engineer, you’ll be a key contributor to the design, development, and scaling of their platform, working closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to build solutions that are secure, reliable, and performance-optimized. You’ll work across the stack, you’ll lead initiatives from concept to delivery.

You will be responsible for the development of server-side logic (Node. js, Nest. js, Serverless), interaction with different storage technologies, writing and maintaining tests and ensuring high performance and responsiveness, while also designing, building, and optimizing user interfaces (React) for complex web applications.

You’ll take the lead on major initiatives—planning features, defining MVPs, breaking projects into actionable phases, and helping to remove blockers for the team.

Everything happens in the Cloud, so previous experience and understanding of cloud technologies and services is important.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design and development of scalable, secure applications across the stack, spanning modern React UIs to high-performance backend services (Node. js);
• Design and build architecture that supports AI/ML-powered features across user facing and API surfaces;
• Drive initiatives end-to-end, from ideation and planning to execution—by breaking down complex projects into MVPs and manageable, prioritized releases;
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to align solutions with business objectives;
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and data privacy regulations;
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, fostering a culture of growth, learning, and technical excellence;
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to continuously improve their applications and development processes;
• Communicate clearly, engage with stakeholders, product managers and cross functional teams to align on goals, share progress and manage expectations.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience using Node. js (with modern frameworks), React, TypeScript and REST APIs;
• Experience in state management (Redux, XState, Nanostores a plus);
• Experienced with AWS architecture, including Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB and Step Functions;
• Deep understanding of architecture and best practices, including RESTful APIs, databases, secure coding, and responsive design;
• Familiar with implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes;
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application;
• Good knowledge of relational and non-relational databases;
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools;
• Great English communication skills;
• Nice to have: 1+ years of experience working with AI/ML solutions or LLMs.
