Role description:

The focus will be on hardware design,
- up, and validation of embedded boards built around NXP i. MX So
Cs and integrated security features. Working closely with system architects, firmware developers, and security specialists to deliver high quality output in time and budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead schematic design, PCB layout, and component selection for compact,
  - reliability embedded boards
• Coordinate sample manufacturing process Design around NXP i. MX. 9 series or similar ARM-based So
  Cs
• Implement secure hardware architectures, including support for secure boot, encrypted storage, and trusted elements (TPM/SE) 
• Support thermal, power, and EMI/EMC compliant design 
• Conduct bring-up and validation of new hardware: test plans, signal integrity analysis, debugging, and optimization 
• Collaborate with Software Development Team on integration with secure software stacks Interface with mechanical teams for enclosure and thermal design constraints 
• Own BOM management, DFM review, and manufacturing
  - off for prototypes and production

Profile : 

• 15+ years experience in hardware design for embedded or aerospace/automotive-grade systems 
• Strong expertise in NXP i. MX series So
  Cs (i. MX 6, 8M, 8X, 9 series), or similar ARM Cortex-A/R/M So
  Cs
• Experience in secure hardware feature implementation:
  • Secure boot chains
  • Hardware
    -
    - trust
  • Trusted Platform Modules (TPM) or Secure Elements (SE)

• Side-channel attack mitigation, EMI/EMC hardening Proficient with Altium Designer, Or
  CAD, or equivalent ECAD tools 
• Strong understanding of power supply design, DDR/memory routing, and high-speed signal integrity
• Experience with hardware validation tools: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG/SWD debuggers 
• Solid understanding of design-for-manufacture (DFM) and environmental compliance requirements 
• Ability to read/write test procedures and work with QA/test engineers during validation

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in automotive, aerospace, defence, military or related.  
• Familiarity with secure microcontrollers (e. g. , STM32H5, Renesas RX, RISC-V secure cores) 
• Knowledge of firmware
  - up and
  - level C/C++/bare-metal debugging 
• Experience with EMC testing, environmental chambers, and thermal simulation tools 
• Understanding of modular computing architectures,

  - board interfaces, and carrier modules
