Your new role and environment.

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Retail Business Platform Enablement Team, you’ll be at the forefront of enabling product teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions. You’ll lead by example - translating infrastructure best practices into reusable, compliant, and
- service capabilities. Your work will directly impact development teams build and run software, ensuring they can focus on delivering customer value while you provide the backbone of reliable infrastructure. You’ll collaborate across domains, mentor engineers, and shape the future of our platform engineering culture.

Key responsibilities of your role.

• Infrastructure Leadership: Architect and implement scalable infrastructure solutions in Azure using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and Ansible. Lead by influence, mentor engineers, and drive technical strategy
• Self-Service Enablement: Focus on building highly reusable modules and automation pipelines that minimize the need for custom development. Enable product teams to provision infrastructure independently, with compliance and security embedded from the start
• Platform Reliability & Automation: Operate and evolve shared services using SRE principles to ensure reliability and resilience
• CI/CD & Dev
  Sec
  Ops Enablement: Enhance Git
  Hub Actions pipelines with integrated policy enforcement, and automated compliance reporting
• Observability & Cost Transparency: Use existing telemetry solutions to standardize logging, metrics, and tracing. Implement cost dashboards and alerts to provide clear visibility into cloud spend and drive optimization
• Migration & Modernization: Support
  -
  - cloud transitions and guide teams in refactoring workloads into modern,
  - driven microservices
• Collaboration & Culture: Partner with engineers, engineering managers, product owners, and security engineers to foster a culture of psychological safety, continuous learning, and shared ownership

Requirements.

We think you’ll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, Dev
  Ops, or SRE roles
• Deep expertise in Azure (Iaa
  S, Paa
  S, Saa
  S), Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and Ansible
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Power
  Shell, etc)
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Git
  Hub Actions or similar), observability frameworks, and Dev
  Sec
  Ops practices
• Familiarity with Fin
  Ops principles and cost optimization tooling
• Passion for mentoring, documentation, and driving change through influence

Nice to have:

• Experience modernizing monolith or ESB middleware into
  - driven
  - services
• Hands-on with Git
  Hub Copilot or other Gen-AI tools for code/test generation
• Understanding of SRE practices (error budgets, SLO management)
