Job Summary

- class secure, easy to use software and hardware solutions for all types of aircrafts.

With extensive experience in software and hardware, our innovative solutions

maximize the efficiency of aircraft and their crew.

We are looking for an enthusiastic & dedicated team player that is up for a new challenge in a great team and an exciting industry who can help us improve and expand the capabilities of our Product suite even further. As our Java Developer, you will mainly be working on our AVIOBOOK Base or Cloud services, which provides data and functionality to all of our mobile apps and portals.

You will be working closely with your Product Owner and other engineers and developers to translate new features into code in an Agile workflow to help grow our business and keep our customers happy

Job responsibilities:

Understand context and customer needs and write/adapt application requirements

Main driver of the architectural, design and development activities

Develop and integrate features according to plan

Document functionalities and technical details

Contribute to and support the test, verification and validation processes for each release

Perform demo presentations and training sessions for all interested stakeholders

Negotiate with stakeholders, estimate effort and propose technical solutions

Professional competencies

Education:

Technical study of Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics, Electronics or similar)

Required competencies/experience:

Experience in building services with JEE and/or Spring Boot

Experience with Mongo
DB and/or My
SQL

Experience with REST and messaging

Skilled in Software Engineering processes (requirements, development, validation, support)

Scrum Agile methodology

Personal competencies

Solution oriented while being open to embrace new technologies

An eye for detail, flexibility and a structured approach.

An analytical mindset.

Languages:

English mandatory

German and/or French would be considered a plus.
