What your day will look like

The Senior Procurement Consultant is responsible for managing the
-
- end procurement process, negotiating supplier contracts, and ensuring compliance with internal policies. You will work closely with
- functional teams to deliver value, drive cost efficiencies, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

Lead the sourcing and procurement of goods and services across various categories

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value for the organisation

Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring performance and service levels are met

Ensure full compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and provide expert guidance

Monitor supplier performance and manage any issues or disputes effectively

Prepare procurement reports, spend analyses, and market insights to support strategic
- making

Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies and process improvements

Stay abreast of market trends, innovations, and best practices in procurement

Provide support to the Head of Procurement and mentor junior team members where appropriate

What you need to fulfill the role

Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional qualification)

Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or a similar role.  

Strong knowledge of procurement principles and practices, including negotiation skills

Strong understanding of procurement principles, contract law, and negotiation techniques

Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office applications

Excellent analytical, organisational, and
- solving skills

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a collaborative mindset

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a
- paced environment
