I am looking for a Senior Quant Developer to join a leading tier 1 investment bank based in Canary Wharf, London. This role sits within the Liquidity Risk Core Modelling team which is part of the Quantitative Analysis Trading department. You must be an experienced Quant Developer skilled in python, pandas, and pyspark (essential. )
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and documentation of the core framework of the strategic Liquidity Risk Model library (written in python)
Defining and setting up the relevant software development process (SDLC) and its tooling
Reviewing code changes made to the Liquidity Risk Model library by your colleagues and peers, from a technical perspective
Perform code optimization
Collaborating with Risk and Finance Technology teams to specify and use RESTful APIs
Working with production support teams, platform teams, model developers, and users to resolve escalated cases
Using different technologies (including python and Py
Spark)
Interacting with quantitative analysts, model developers, and product owners around the globe to gather user stories and clarify requirements
Key Technical Skills:
This will be an initial 6-month rolling contract paying up to £ per day via an umbrella company. My client offers flexibility for hybrid working and you would only need to be in the office twice a week.
