Based in Cluj Napoca, as a Senior R&D Group Manager, you will champion organizational process improvements, drive the standardization of project workflows, and build a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability, in addition to leading a
- working team of engineers and project professionals.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Mentor and train new engineers. Develop and mentor team members, promoting a collaborative environment passionate about professional growth and accountability.

Provide technical leadership for a team of engineers. Lead a
- functional team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with deep technical proficiency in the development of Software and Hardware products for test & measurement.

Responsible for meeting deadlines and milestones. Works with the project manager. Responsible for ensuring effective management of projects on time, cost, and quality.

Prioritize projects and manage technical resources. Oversee project planning processes, including the definition of scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.

Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, inclusion, safety, and customer service across a diverse,
- disciplinary team.

Lead
- project reviews to assemble lessons learned and drive continuous improvement across project workflows.

Manages administrative tasks.

Who You Are:

Experienced technical leader who wants to work with a team of engineers to provide technical mentoring and leadership while taking care of the people management and administrative tasks project management.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.

+ yrs of relevant experience in Engineering, Technical project management or Product development roles commensurate with the level of this position.

Understanding of software design and architecture principles. Experience programming in C, C++, Python.

Understanding of FPGA technology, digital and analog circuits, and embedded system design and analysis.

Experience in leading a technical team of engineers, providing technical guidance to software and hardware projects.

Experience implementing standardized project workflows and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Proven ability to inspire, coach, and build
- performing teams in a matrixed environment.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and partner leadership skills.

Fluent written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

+ years of dynamic experience in Engineering, Technical project management or Product development roles.

+ years’ experience managing a team

Experience working in a technical, manufacturing or engineering industry.

PMI/PMP certification
