The Role:As a Senior Software Developer in our core delivery team, you'll help craft interesting, challenging systems that are beyond routine feature work, alongside a team of highly skilled peers who value software craftsmanship and autonomy. Role Responsibilities:

Active participation in all aspects of software solution design, including code structure, deployment architecture, Dev
Ops, automated testing and integration of third party systems in line with our technical strategies.

Collaborating with client stakeholders and with fellow Propellerhead Developers, Analysts, and Solution Architects, to create a shared understanding of the solution design and roadmap delivery in line with agreed budgets.

Constructing software at every layer of the stack, from user interfaces, back end services, data repositories, interoperability,
-
- code, deployment pipelines, automated testing and system monitoring.

Providing
- line support of the systems you build and actively seeking ways to keep your software secure, performant and reliable.

Passing on your learning of new technologies or techniques to the broader organisation as part of our knowledge sharing programme.

As a core team member you will be responsible for directing the development approach and reviewing components delivered by implementation partners to ensure quality measures such as security, reliability, maintainability, performance and functional fit for purpose.

Actively moving forward the evolution of our code base from C# to Rust.

Skills and Experience Required:

7+ years experience as a Software Developer, including experience working with
- level complexity.

You must have proficiency in Type
Script and at least one modern web application framework, preferably React.

Must have experience in C# and
-
- date . NET frameworks to the extent you can maintain some existing code.

Hands-on experience deploying to Azure and/or AWS, including participation in building CI/CD pipelines and
-
- code using tools such as Terraform.

You must have experience with asynchronous services and/or stream processing.

Experience with Kubernetes and
- based deployments.

Some experience with Rust is desirable. You will be moving heavily towards this programming language with us.  

Previous experience with Go or C++, is a bonus.

We are particularly looking for developers with experience or demonstrable interest in any of the following: digital identity, verifiable credentials, open banking, AI agent authorization, edge or
- based software deployment.

Experience using techniques such as user stories to express the work to be done as business outcomes.

You can produce clear and concise design documents.

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate between requirements and technical tasks.
