You will be involved in the delivery of Imagination’s key projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, involving working across all of Imagination’s engineering teams, including hardware and software. You will: Ensure RISC-V CPUs can boot operating systems and will be able to run real software. Maintain and support Yocto build system in a continuous integration environment including packaging and deployment of software images
Configure, modify and integrate the kernel and embedded boot loaders
Write and maintain scripts and Yocto recipes
Develop and migrate existing products to Yocto-based platforms
Integrate specific Linux/Kernel infrastructure and any

Experience of enabling virtual machines and hypervisors and how they exploit the hardware
Significant experience with Yocto Project
Experience developing SW using Linux
Experience with Bash scripting and Python programming You might also have: Experience working with CI/CD tools(Git, Jira)Some experience with OS-level virtualization(Docker)Experience developing and debugging kernel drivers for Embedded Linux would be a plus
Experience of profiling operating systems and software stacks
C++ programming experience would be also good
Some assembly language programming. Knowledge in operating system kernels and how they exploit the hardware (for example linux or RTOS) Who we are
