What You’ll Do

● Implement and maintain robust, scalable, and secure APIs and backend systems using Python

● Facilitate the integration of
- end components with
- side logic

● Leverage automation tools like Git
Hub Copilot and Chat
GPT to implement new features efficiently

● Utilize Docker for containerization and deployment of applications

● Collaborate with frontend engineers, Dev
Ops, data scientists and product managers to define, design, and ship new features

● Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, troubleshoot and debug issues

● Work both independently and collaboratively within the team

● Provide clear instructions to team members and help coordinate

● Communicate with the client on a regular basis

● Provide technical leadership for the team – mentor, coach, and lead by example

What You Bring

● 5+ years of background in development

● Strong background in Python (3. x) and Fast
API (or Flask), design, build, and operate REST services

● Knowledge of secure,
- trust REST APIs (least privilege, JWT/OAuth2/OIDC, m
TLS, rate limiting, secrets management)

● Experience with data stores: Postgre
SQL (schema design, queries, migrations) and Redis for caching, as well as with development tooling: linters,
- commit hooks, Black, Pylint, and Pydantic for data validation, data handling/transfer using common file formats, including CSV and Parquet

● Experience with
- driven development with pytest (fixtures, mocks, coverage) and automated test execution

● Familiarity with Docker for containerization and JFrog Artifactory for image/package management, Git
Hub (PRs, code reviews, branching, version control) and Jira for issue/roadmap tracking, Kubernetes-based architectures: deploy/operate containerized workloads

● Pragmatic approach to balancing process against flexibility in achieving objectives

● Excellent organizational skills, including the capacity to
- manage, structure work, set priorities, and work to deadlines

● Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Nice to have

● Knowledge of code quality &
- chain tools: Sonar
Qube and Mend

● Familiarity with React, Type
Script, and collaboration in Figma

● Experience with CI/CD, Git
Hub Actions/workflows, practical automation with Git
