Service Now developer
Location: Remote

Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Platform Engineer to join our Service
Now engineering team. The role is ideal for candidates with strong experience in ITSM and either ITOM or SAM, or with deep expertise in ITSM alone. You will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing solutions on the Service
Now platform, ensuring they bring real business value and follow best practices.
Key Responsibilities -
Design, develop, and maintain Service
Now modules, primarily ITSM and either ITOM or SAM.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective platform solutions.

Critically assess and refine existing solutions to align with business value and best practices.

Work across multiple Service
Now modules, demonstrating flexibility and broad platform knowledge.

Ensure all configurations and customizations are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with the companys technology strategy.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Skills & Experience -
Proven experience with Service
Now, particularly in ITSM and one of ITOM or SAM.

Strong understanding of ITSM processes and best practices.

Ability to challenge existing solutions constructively to meet business goals.

Comfort working across different Service
Now modules.

Strong analytical and
- solving skills with a proactive mindset.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Desirable Qualifications -
Service
Now Certified System Administrator or
- specific certifications.

Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Familiarity with scripting languages (Java
Script, Glide
Script) within Service
