Job description

We are looking for a
- active Software Engineer who can think outside the box when needed.

As a software developer at ORTEC, you work in a small, international team of engaged colleagues who enjoy their work just as much as you do.

We are currently working on creating the successor of our existing cargo space usage and route scheduling SAP applications. For this, we need help from enthusiastic engineers that want to help shape the future of our software, so we can continue to make a positive impact on the world and the world’s climate. We build our SAP
- on product in SAP S/4HANA with the ABAP RESTful programming model and SAP UI5 UIs and create a
- integrated application suite connecting SAP processes with
- class Saa
S-based optimization engines.

As a small team, of course we also must take care of and work on legacy components in classical ABAP that are still present and required on our way to the next iteration.

The challenge in our team will be to be open and able to tackle many varied tasks and problems in a wide range of technologies for which we must find solutions, keeping the balance between cost and gain as well as old and new. So, creativity, being able to compromise and being willing to constantly learn new things are key.
