As part of this role, you will be working on a
- impact software project for a global leader in the scientific instrumentation and laboratory technologies sector — helping to build
- native solutions that power research and innovation in life sciences, chemistry, and healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Work independently and as part of a team with deep focus on hard technical problems and explain the why, how, and what, that makes your solution technically sound, provide constructive feedback regarding best practices, performance, and maintainability
• Lead User Story refinement meetings to ensure stories are understood and decomposed adequately
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams to architect, design, document and implement quality solutions
• Stay ahead of the curve with respect to new technologies and techniques with an eye towards continual
  improvement of both the team’s skill set and the product goals 
• To act as technical expert for coding, process and best practices (e. g. adherence to Definition of Done)
  and effectively communicate this to the team
• Collaborate across teams to improve working practices and skill levels
• To carry out all responsibilities in accordance with the Quality Policy and all applicable procedures
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of all aspects of the applications and services owned by the team.
• Adhere to Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Experience required:

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer with strong
  - end development skills using C# and. NET.
• Front-End Java
  Script Frameworks, especially Angular
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), microservices architecture, and RESTful API development.
• Strong understanding and practical application of software engineering principles such as SOLID, TDD, CI/CD, unit testing, and BDD.
• Demonstrated ability to design and develop complex features independently.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams, with active participation in sprint activities.
• Strong
  - solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent) in science, computing engineering subjects.

Desirable:

• Continuous delivery, with pipelines implemented in Spinnaker, Kubernetes, Docker, Terra
  Form
• Experience implementing Data Dog - ability to create monitors, alerts and dashboards.
• Experience using Git
  Hub and Git
  Hub Actions
  
• Behavior Driven Development (BDD), with Gherkin & Spec
  Flow
• Atlassian Jira, Confluence
  
• Software security best practices and implementation (e. g. OWASP, PKI, X509 Certificates, TLS)
• Software development for regulated environments (e. g. 21CFR11)
