The Senior Manager, Solution Architect, Order Management Technology is a key business interfacing role, responsible for evaluating, designing, building, supporting, and enhancing software applications that power ELC’s Order and Inventory Management operations. They work with multiple Business and IT stakeholders to define technology roadmaps, and create and adopt technology solutions that are aligned with corporate strategy. They collaborate with technical teams to prototype, build, test and deliver the solutions. They lead teams through process conformance and compliance as appropriate (e. g. SOX). They research and implement technology best practices for software quality, security and usability. This is a true business partner role requiring a point of view, and the ability to make proactive recommendations and drive them to fruition. This position will provide thought leadership, management, and oversight of applications for ELC. Key Activities Translates business domain understanding and context to technical capabilities for technical architects and development teams Accountable for collaborating with business stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify solution gaps and available capabilities, and define solutions to meet the business need. Ensures that use cases and process models accurately portray the business needs Ensure work scope is maintained and solutions are implemented. Form and lead project teams. Establish budgets.
